Women's Suffrage March

6th February 2018
What a great day!

Thank you to all the parents and members of the community who turned out to support our march, marking the centenary of the Representation of the People Act which gave some women the vote for the first time.

Here is a clip of the interviews some of our Yr 6 pupils gave on BBC Radio Bristol (you can hear them in the context of the show, for the next few days at least, further down the page.)

Here's the clip from HTV...

... and a link to the BBC Radio Bristol Show some of our Yr 6 children were interviewed on. You'll find them about an hour in, after the news bulletin.

At the end of the day, each class gave a short presentation to the school about a notable woman they had researched.

(Sorry, one class is missing because of a memory card glitch.)
