A new chapter for Jubilee swimming pool!

On Friday 30 September and after years of campaigning by locals, Bristol City Council will officially hand the keys over to the Friends of Jubilee Pool for management by our community. 🙂🎉

It's been quite a rollercoaster to date, and the ride continues, with the steep rise in energy prices heavily impacting the leisure sector. You might have read about it in the local press recently. We want to take a minute to celebrate how far we've got though, so on Saturday 1 October we are hosting a couple of events - a cake sale with face painting and music throughout the day, a raffle and some special evening (10pm - 12midnight) swims. We'll also have some more information on display in the reception area about the history of the pool and the Friends will be on hand to answer any questions. 🍰🏊‍♀️

How can you help?

• If you are around Knowle, we'd love to see you down at the pool between 9.30 - 3 on Saturday 1 Oct (lessons and public swims continue as normal)
