Hillcrest Comedy Night - Thursday 12th May

We welcome Rob Deering (BBC radio 4, BBC 6 Music), Ria Leena (Live at the Apollo) and Firuz Ozari (Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year) and of course our very own Stuart Goldsmith as host!


Thurs 12th May in the main hall, (doors 7.30 for 8pm start) this promises to be a fantastic night in aid of Friends of Hillcrest. And in case you need any more convincing, here are a few comments following our last comedy night:

Fully licensed bar. Over 18s only please.


As always, all money raised goes to Friends of Hillcrest to benefit our children and our school. Thank you for your support!








Committee News 

Kay Clark, who has a daughter in Reception, has kindly taken over from Rachel as Secretary for Friends. Sarah Breton, who also has a daughter in Reception, will be working alongside the current Treasurer, Felicity Lindsay, with a view to stepping into the Treasurer role in the future. Thank you to Rachel for your sterling service as Secretary and to Kay and Sarah for stepping up to the plate!




Friends of Hillcrest ‘Donate my School’ Crowdfunder

Friends set up the Crowdfunder at the beginning of 2020 to allow us to continue to raise money despite being unable to run our usual fundraising events. The Hillcrest community donated an incredible £2,165 to the fund last year! This money has contributed towards musical instruments and books for the school and the circus workshops and performance enjoyed by the children at the end of last term.


At this years’ Friends AGM we agreed to keep the fund open for another year. Donation is completely voluntary and any amount is welcome. If you would like to donate please do so here:
