So here it is... Merry Christmas! What a term it’s been! Read some of the children’s comments about just a few of this term’s many highlights here

If you haven’t had a chance yet to listen to the Christmas edition of From the Crest of the Hill, our very own Hillcrest podcast, don’t miss it. It’s a treat! You can download it from the website here. This episode is hosted by Jet and Sam O and features:

  • Dear Miss Norman - Our headteacher celebrates children’s learning from across the school
  • Chatty Children - Roving reporter Fergus finds out about Bulgaria
  • Teacher Tales - The first in our series of ‘No Outsiders’ stories where teachers tell their own personal tales of resilience
  • Voices from the playground - Children from across the school tell us what they are looking forward to this Christmas

Well done to Hazel in Puffin class, who has won a prize in the Children’s University Winter Art competition! You can see her winning collage and read what the judge had to say about it here.

Don’t forget that Monday 4th January is an Inset day. The children will be back in school on the Tuesday.

Lunch on the first day back will be takeaway pizza and wedges.

Christmas Performances - You should have received a link to the video of your child’s class performance by email today. You can also find the video on Seesaw or, if your child is in Reception, Tapestry.
