Watch an introduction to Hillcrest HERE

Hillcrest is a popular school at the heart of our community in Totterdown - a supportive and inspiring environment where each pupil is valued for who they are. The children are at the heart of everything we do - nurtured, academically engaged and inspired to achieve their full potential.

Our four values - Resilience, Partnership, Excellence and Innovation - are central to our ethos and curriculum and help the children to grow into compassionate, well-rounded individuals, confident in their abilities, with a love of learning and a zest for life.

Both children and staff feel valued and cared for here. Our students benefit from excellent teaching, a rich curriculum and a strong sense of partnership between school and family.

Ask at the school office if you want a paper copy or translation of any of the documents on the website.

Please contact us if you have any questions.

 COVID-19 UPDATE

As of 8th June, BCC Public Health recommend that all members of families / households where children under age 11 live take lateral flow tests at least twice a week. Find out how to get your free test kits HERE.

Swiftly self-isolate and seek PCR testing for anyone with a positive Lateral Flow test OR any symptoms, including mild cold-type symptoms and stomach ache, particularly if associated with sore throat /headache.

This is a change to previous advice.
It is local guidance in response to an uptick in cases of the new variant of concern in a few Bristol schools. The advice on the NHS website has not yet been updated.
