- Take what you like - as many items as you want for FREE!
- Anything left at the end will go to Bristol Textile Recyclers and raise a bit of money for the school.
There’ll be refreshments to keep you going. Come and Swap Till You Drop!
Yr 5 have won the Term 2 Read-o-Meter challenge! As a reward, they’re having a Pyjama Day and bringing in their favourite book this Friday. Well done Yr 5! Who will win next term’s challenge? The competition starts on the first day back!
Term 3 Clubs - Remember to book enrichment activities for next term. Choose from the Programme here.
Yr 6 Camp deadline - Please give permission and pay the £40 deposit for the Kilve Court Camp on Gateway by Friday 25th October. (The deposit is non-refundable).
Data Collection sheet - Each year, we check that the data we hold on each child is still correct. If you came to one of the recent Parents’ Evenings you will have had a copy of your child’s Data Collection sheet to check, update if necessary, sign and return. We are still waiting for lots to come back. If you didn’t make Parents’ Evening and haven’t been given one, please look out for it coming home in your child’s bag this week. If you had one but have mislaid it please let us know and we’ll print you a new one. Please note that the form needs to be signed and returned, even if there are no changes.
Tax Free Childcare - There are a large number of unclaimed payments in the council’s account from HMRC, some of which may be ours, that haven’t been draw down because schools don’t have the payment references. If you are using the government Child Care vouchers please can you email school with your child’s name, your payment reference and the amounts of any payments made so far? The reference will be your child’s initial, the first three letters of their surname and a unique reference number. Until the HMRC get their system sorted out, it would be a great help if you could email the school each time any payment is made. Thank you for your help with this.
School Photos on the first day back - Every child will have an individual photo taken but if you would like your children photographed together, or to bring in a pre-schooler for a photo with their older sibling/s, don’t forget to let us know here. By Friday morning please.
Yr 6 routine Height & Weight Check by School Nursing Team - You only need to return the form that came home on Friday if you don’t want your child to have the check.
Head lice in Yr 4 - Check heads please!
Look out for your next Mailbag on Friday.
