Mr Barham’s Big Run - Dan will be doing the last leg of his 105km around Redcatch Park tomorrow from 4pm, raising money for Show Racism the Red Card. It would be great to have loads of people lining the route (socially distanced, of course!) to cheer him on, so do come along if you can. He’d love children to run with him too, if they’d like to.

Thank you to everyone who has donated and helped him to break his £1,000 target already. If you would like to contribute click here for his Just Giving page.

If you need an extra incentive to go along to the park on Wednesday, Ciccio’s L’arancino, a pop up Sicilian takeaway, will be in the park from 5 - 9pm selling traditional wood fired pizza, arancini and cannoli!

Meet the Teacher - Sorry, we haven’t finalised when the Zoom sessions will be. Watch this space. We hope to let you know on Friday.

A Parent’s Guide to Black Lives Matter - You can find this useful guide, packed with help and resources, on our website, here.

Correction - Reports will be emailed out on 13th July, not 6th as we said in Friday’s Mailbag.

It’s Hillcrest Poetry Day on Friday! How are you getting on with learning your poems? Don’t forget to send your performance videos to Juliet at jfleming@hillcrest.bristol.sch.uk to be added to our Poetry Performances page, and there’s still time to send your own poems to school@hillcrest.bristol.sch.uk to be included in our Poetry Trail.

There will be six Doorstep Poets for you to visit whilst you’re out and about on the Trail on Friday afternoon! We’ll make sure you get the trail map in time.

Look out for your next Mailbag on Friday.
