Visiting the school
Each Autumn we usually hold an Open Morning for parents whose children are due to start in Reception the following September.
This year, in the light of Covid-19 precautions, we held this remotely, via Zoom, on 20th October 2020.
A recording of the Zoom session is available to watch below. You can also view the slides from the presentation at the foot of the page and watch a short film introducing Hillcrest HERE.
If you are considering applying for a place at Hillcrest for an older child, or at any other time of year, call Sue, Cat or Juliet in the school office - 0117 3772440 - to arrange a time for one of us to show you around the school, if Covid restrictions permit.
The number of children at Hillcrest
In order to meet the needs of the children already on roll, teaching and learning spaces need to be used flexibly and for a variety of purposes. Therefore Hillcrest Primary School Governors have determined that the maximum class size will be 30 children, to enable the most effective teaching and learning to take place in a refurbished, undersized Victorian building.
We have two form entry - two classes of 30 in each year group.
Numbers currently on roll (Updated 10th March 2021)
|Total on roll||407|
