Parrots Lower Stock Farm trip letter 10 May 2021

Dear Parents and Carers of pupils in Parrot class
On Thursday 24th June 2021, we are planning to take the children on a trip to Lower Stock Farm in Wrington, for a tour of the working farm. This is to link with our enquiry “What is Growing?” and it will enable us to look at lifecycles and habitats.
We will be leaving school at 9.10am, returning for pick-up at the normal time.
The children will need a packed lunch and a water bottle.
Please tell the School Office whether your child would like the free school packed lunch (a choice of egg, cheese, ham or tuna) which they are entitled to by Thursday 10 th June 2021. Otherwise, we will assume that you will be providing a packed lunch (no cans or glass bottles and no fizzy drinks please).
We are asking for a contribution of £4.00 per child for this visit which will cover the cost of the travel. Please note that this request is for a voluntary contribution and in no way represents a mandatory charge. No pupil registered at the school will be treated differently, whether or not their parents have made any contribution in response to the request.
Payment and consent can be made online via the School Gateway system (there is a link on the school website) by Friday 18th June 2021.
We will need some adult helpers on the day, so please contact the school by text or email if you are able to help.
Kind regards
Mrs Newstead, Mrs Caudwell and Mrs Wyatt
