Reception Daily Tasks Week beginning 20 April

Hello Puffins and Parrots!
We hope that you all had a lovely Easter holiday enjoying the sunshine at home with your families.
Your teachers have been thinking carefully about Home Learning activities for the next few weeks while school remains closed. We have decided that a topic about ourselves, our homes and our families would be a lovely way to focus our learning this term. There is a weekly Topic Overview and Knowledge Organiser on the website and we hope that you will have some lovely ideas of your own too!
We hope you will enjoy the daily videos and activities that we upload and don't forget that you can join us on Zoom every Thursday afternoon for a thirty minute Show and Tell time. Puffins can log into Zoom from 2 - 2.30pm and Parrots from 2.30 - 3pm. We will put the links for the Zoom meetings onto Tapestry by Thursday morning.
We're really looking forward to hearing about all of your lovely Home Learning on Tapestry and hope to see you on Zoom!

Take care and stay safe everyone.

Love and best wishes from
Mrs Wyatt, Mrs Caudwell, Mrs Newstead, Mrs Dix and Miss Hayward

Hello Parrots and Puffins,

Today we are looking at making a timeline using the story ‘Once There Were Giants’. You can then make your own timeline about yourself or someone in your family. I look forward to seeing them on Tapestry!

Today’s learning is on the link below and there are also general clips which talk about change and the lifecycle of farm animals.

Monday 20th April

Hello Parrots and Puffins,

We hope you had a lovely Easter. This term we are starting by thinking how we have changed since we were born. After listening to the story ‘ Once There Were Giants’  can you talk about things you have learnt to do? I wonder what else you will learn as you grow and change?
