We've been analyising soil and seeing what we can find in it.  We measured the chunks of stone and sand grains. We discovered that there is a lot of clay in our soil.

RE day - Buddhism.  Some Yr 4 children talking about their experiences during our whole school meditation. 
 
One of the beautiful mandalas we made when we were learning about Buddhism.  We made them and then destroyed them to explore the notion of impermanence.  (Some Buddhist monks make intricate mandalas from coloured sand then sweep them away and pour the sand into a river or stream.)
