Batch Cook Club event - Free nutrition talk & community meal on 5th February

Feast & Flourish: nutrition talk & meal

5th February, 7-8.30pm

Join us for a relaxed and inclusive evening of good food and hear from our in-house Nutritional Therapist, Seema Vekaria (DipCNM, mANP) who will be sharing affordable ideas to boost your nutrition, including the following topics:

  • Feel energised: advice to balance your blood sugars

  • Super ingredients: simple swaps to optimise meal times

  • When to eat: how timing can affect your metabolism

After the talk we will be serving a delicious and nutritious supper including:

  • Welcome snack

  • Meal tbc

  • Spiced fruit

  • Kombucha

  • Non-alcoholic beer

This event is perfect for you if you’ve ever been curious about improving your nutrition and/or looking for practical, affordable ways to make positive changes to your lifestyle. …or just come for the food! :-)

We will be using a pay-as-you-can system for our community meal. If you are able to pay, we will share the “cost” of the meal. That’s how much it costs us to make it - including ingredients and paying our lovely staff.

And if you can’t pay, there’s always a meal and a seat at the table waiting for you.

Pay-as-you-can means just that - whatever you can pay, even if that’s nothing at all.
