2KL Music lesson
2KL making healthy vegetable tarts. The ingredients were chosen by themselves and they used the cutting skills that they learnt last week.
2NA been learning how to use the bridge and claw grips to safely chop and slice veggies with a sharp knife. We've been practicing grating safely too, and enjoying eating the fruits (veggies?) of our labour!

We had the Star Seekers from the Wardrobe Theatre working with 2KL this week. They will be visiting again at the beginning of Term 5.

2KL innovated the well-known story of The Three Little Pigs, with different characters and houses, set in the Amazon Rainforest.

We are learning about the Yanomami tribe in the Amazon Rainforest and made our own blow pipes. They hunt with blowpipes and poisonous darts (our darts weren't poisonous!).
The children in 2KL did a hot seating exercise where they had to talk about their egg protector design and answer questions about the materials they used.
