Year One enjoyed a visit from Mrs Howells' Dad this week who came in to answer the children's questions all about life living in a corner shop in the 1950s. As part of our Enquiry this term, Year One are comparing shops in the past to our shopping experiences in the present day. The children created some amazing questions and listened brilliantly to the answers.

We stretched our bodies with some Cosmic 'Minion' Yoga... Banamaste!
1HW's Role Model, Colin the postman, visited us today and read his book to the class! The children loved listening to his story and joining in with movements and sound effects. Colin was very happy to get so many 'letters' from them too. We were also lucky enough to hear the first snippets from his NEW book, that he's just started writing!

The children have been finding out about our class role model, Colin the postman. Some of the children even posted their drawings and work to our class post box, which will be passed on to Colin. How exciting! This week, we also reminded ourselves about the 3 Bs: Be safe. Be kind. Be ready to learn. Some of us drew helpful information pictures too.
