City of Bristol Swimming Club has been the centre of excellence for swimmers of all ages across the Bristol/Bath area for the last 10 years. Our home club is based at Hengrove Pool and we work in unison with Parkwood Leisure, Bristol City Council and Swim England to provide competitive swim training from entry level (after completion of swimming lessons) right through to National/International Performance standard.

We're contacting local schools to promote our Academy Squad to children who may want to explore competitive swimming or improve their swimming skills. All of our coaches are trained by Swim England to Level 1, 2 or 3 and are DBS checked by our Safety and Welfare Officers.

There has been a noticeable downturn in children taking up basic swimming lessons since 2020 and we are  committed to providing access to swim training for children of all ages .
