Learn to Batch Cook - 4 week course in Brislington

Sign up for a step-by-step practical cooking course led by Laurie and Seema from Batch Cook Club.
Using food and ingredients often found at the Food Pantry, these friendly cooking sessions will build your practical kitchen skills, confidence, and nutrition knowledge.
Each week we will build awareness of food/nutrition related to cancer prevention:
Increasing fibre
Reducing sugar
Understanding what ultra processed foods are and how to identify
Understanding / cooking with different fats / oils
Reducing consumption of / alternatives to eating red meat
Take home a portion of the food you cook, and each session will end with a social group meal with the opportunity to speak to a clinician about cancer screening.
These classes are part of ‘Cook Smart, Live well - batch cooking for cancer awareness’ at St Peter’s Methodist Church, Brislington.

Who: Open to all. No experience necessary.
