Breakfast, After School & Holiday Clubs
Future Stars Coaching
The award winning Future Stars Coaching provide a Breakfast Club and Wrap Around Care Club at Hillcrest every weekday during term time and Holiday Clubs through the school holidays.
Breakfast Club
7.30am until the start of the school day, in the small hall.
Our Breakfast Club offers your child a healthy, fun and active start to the day. Children will be greeted by the wide-awake coaches. After signing in, the children will find their friends at a table and join in with some quiet games. They’ll put their food order in (toast, cereals, jams, spreads, fruit, juice and more) and collect it when it’s ready. After eating and letting their food settle, they’ll either re-join their friends for some structured play, or we will be outside for some proper waking-up and pulse raising activity! We’ll then make sure they’re with their class teacher for the start of the day!

Wrap Around Care
3.15 - 5.30, in the small hall.
Our Wrap Around Care is a childcare facility that offers children a wide range of fun engaging activities. The club is a safe, friendly and secured environment coached by trained coaches meeting all Ofsted, safeguarding and first aid requirements.
Each day will have all the traditional elements of our wrap around care - pulse raising exercise, quiet places to read, outdoor activities, board games to play, craft to create and tasty snacks to eat. Additional to this each day will have an exciting focus activity - our coaches are busy working on this over the holidays so keep your eyes peeled for this announcement!
Depending on their age/year group, your children will either walk down to the club or will be brought down by by their teacher. Once we’ve registered the children, they will be given the option to take part in an active session (sport outside, gymnastics in the hall, playing on the field, etc) or a quieter session inside the hall (board games, painting, craft, puzzles, etc). We’ll stop for a healthy snack and a bit of quiet time. Then it’s back to activities. Children will have freedom to try something active or something quiet - whether they’re feeling particularly energetic or tired from a long day, we can adjust things for them.

Early Years Key Worker
Within the team we have an Early Years Key Worker who is responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare and engagement of all of our reception children. If you wish to speak with the Key Worker regarding your child, please do speak with the Lead Coach who can advise you of who your child’s Key Worker is.
Future Stars Holiday Clubs
Future Stars offer Holiday Clubs at Hillcrest through each school holiday.
All childcare vouchers and HMRC tax-free childcare accepted.
"What's not to love about our holiday clubs? The children arrive to a buzz of activity and friendly faces. Each venue has a constant teacher/coach so that children feel safe and comfortable. There are themed activities throughout the day with plenty of opportunity to make new friends and catch up with old ones! All of our venues are registered with Ofsted - meaning parents can pay with child care vouchers too!"

Activities and childcare outside school
TCCW was established in 1979 by local parents to serve the children at Knowle Infant and Knowle Junior Schools (amalgamated into Hillcrest Primary School in 2000). It is still run today as a not for profit charity overseen by a voluntary management committee.
TCCW is a much valued and loved part of the community and being run by parents for parents enables us to offer a unique childcare experience.
Children are collected from Hillcrest at the end of the school day.
At TCCW we offer children a range of structured and free play opportunities. Children have access to toys, games, crafts, books, dens, dressing up. We also take children on trips to the local park and further afield during holiday club.
