Red Nose Day - Watch out teachers!
Fri 11 Mar 2022We in the fundraising committee believe that Red Nose Day is an extremely important charity to support. Red Nose Day is on Friday 18th March and we have decided to punish some of the Hillcrest Staff with a Punishanator!
If you would like to punish a teacher, we are asking for £1 to spin the spinners to randomly choose a punishment and a teacher, OR, if you would like to choose the teacher and the punishment, we are charging £2.
The teachers who can be punished are: Mr Boyle, Mr Mac, Mr Barham, Mr Taylor, Mrs Howells, Ms Sharples and Mrs Loader.
On the Punishments menu are: Doing the waltz (with another teacher), ice down tops, pie in the face or having a wet sponge thrown at them.
All children are welcome to come dressed in red as well to celebrate this amazing charity.
The teachers will take their punishment in front of the whole school the following week (Mr Mac better watch out!)

Football News
Fri 11 Mar 2022Our Hillcrest Harriers travelled to Fair Furlong Primary School for a league match on Monday and came home with all three points after a whopping 7-2 victory.
Striker Max bagged himself a hat-trick while midfield maestro Xavi notched two and the versatile Tommy and Jordan got one apiece.
But it wasn't just goal scoring where the Harriers impressed - Sam was a tiger in goal and was ably protected by Mo, Ben and Henry who made some important blocks and tackles as well as some great passes forward.
And further up the field, tricky winger Flynn was a constant thorn in the side for Furlong.
A wonderful performance by a fine team of football players. They did Hillcrest proud.
Thank you to Mr Barham for organising.

Fri 11 Mar 2022Hillcrest Hurricanes drew an exciting match with Headley Park 5-5 on Wednesday.
Mimi and Alba both notched two points each and Ben added one more.
What was different about this match was that no child stayed in the same position. It was a great opportunity to show how well-rounded they are as athletes both in defence and attack.
They also responded well to being called on the occasional footwork error and quickly got on with the game.
They remained respectful to their opponents throughout and represented Hillcrest wonderfully.
Go Hurricanes!
Well done to Cass, Ben, Alba, Ellie, Beth, Mimi, Phoebe, Iona and Stephene.
Thank you to Coach North for organising.
